Jazzy B's

About us

In an ever changing, fast-paced world, success is determined by good choices for lasting effects. Kansas City jazz is well known for its culmination of all types of cultures in one big melting pot. Jazzy B’s will continue this tradition through its unique cooking style of hickory smoked meats at a reasonable price.

Brandon Simpson also known as Jazzy, the owner of Jazzy B's Diner, mobile food truck and catering has always been intrigued by the culinary experience. During his time at Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU), he studied restaurant and food management in addition to starting a company which he named "Cheese of Desire" where he sold specialty cheesecakes to students and Maryville locals.
Along with his enthusiasm and devotion to food, Brandon was also a proud member of the Division ll NWMSU football team where they proudly won back-to-back Championship titles in 1998 and 1999.
After leaving NWMSU, Brandon played for the Arena Football League for two years. He would eventually return to his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri.
Following his return, he was hired as the manager of a local restaurant later deciding to pursue his dream of starting his own business. This is when Jazzy B's Food truck was born.
In 2016 Brandon opened Jazzy B's Diner in North Lee's Summit, Missouri on Colburn Rd. where he built a following and quickly established himself as a successful businessman and entrepreneur in the Kansas City area. In January 2023 Brandon and his family opened a new location at 320 SW Blue Parkway in Lee's Summit, MO. The new location has an open floor plan and includes a full service bar which allows Jazzy B's to continue providing the greater Kansas City area with their favorite food items.
In addition to building his business, Brandon, also lends his time and talents throughout the Kansas City area.
